privacy
The short version: this site keeps a handful of things, only if you sign in and submit the airdrop form. Some of them go on the leaderboard, because that is what a leaderboard is; your wallet address is not one of them and never will be. There is no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and nothing is sold or shared.
What is kept, and when
Nothing at all is kept while you read the site. The four pages before the drop send no data anywhere and set no cookies.
If you sign in with X on the drop page and submit the form, one row is written with:
- your X account id, username and profile picture, read once from X at sign-in;
- the link to the post you paste in;
- the wallet address you type;
- the score the server worked out by replaying the run you played;
- a one-way hash of your IP address, and your browser's user agent string.
The IP is hashed, not stored. It exists to cap how many addresses can be entered from one connection in a day, and the hash cannot be turned back into an address.
What is never collected
No email. No password. No followers, timeline, likes or direct messages: the X sign-in asks for read access to your public profile and nothing else, and the only call made is the one that returns your id, username and profile picture. Nothing here connects to your wallet, asks you to sign a transaction, or reads your balances.
Cookies and what stays in your browser
Two cookies, both first-party. One lasts ten minutes and exists only to carry a sign-in safely from here to X and back. The other is your session: it holds your X id and username, signed so it cannot be edited, and lasts thirty days or until you press sign out. There are no analytics or advertising cookies, because there is no analytics or advertising.
Your best score, whether the form has been opened, and your entry number are kept in your browser's local storage. Those never leave your device and are not readable by this site's server.
Who else touches it
- Vercel hosts the site and runs the form, so it processes the request and keeps standard server logs.
- Neon holds the database the row is written to.
- X handles the sign-in itself. What they see is what any sign-in shows them: that you authorised this app.
- Google Fonts serves the two typefaces, which means Google sees a request from your browser for the font files. It loads on every page.
- X's image servers (pbs.twimg.com) serve the profile pictures on the leaderboard, on the drop page only. Nothing is sent to them but the request for the picture.
Nobody else. Nothing is sold, rented, or handed to advertisers or data brokers.
What is published, and what is not
There is a leaderboard on the drop, and submitting the form puts you on it. It shows four things about an entry: your X username, your X profile picture, your score, and a link to the post you made yourself. All four are things you have already published, or a number this site worked out about a game you played.
Your wallet address is never shown, to anyone. Neither is the hash of your IP, your user agent, or your X account id. The only person who can read those is whoever holds the owner key, and the only reason to read one is to send the tokens.
Your profile picture is loaded straight from X's image servers when someone views the board, the same way it is on any site that embeds a post, which means their browser asks pbs.twimg.com for it.
If you would rather not be on it, do not submit the form. Getting your row deleted, below, takes you off the board as well.
How long
Entries are kept until the airdrop has been distributed and long enough after it to answer questions about who received what. After that they are deleted.
Getting your row deleted
Message @thetickeris_ from the account you signed in with and it will be removed. Deleting it also removes you from the airdrop list, since the list is the row.
